Early Steps Day Nursery Dudley is owned by sisters Kerry and Vicky who both have a lifelong passion for all things childcare!
Committed to making every child that they provide care for feel like a part of their family, this dedication to creating a nurturing environment has directly impactor our core values here at Early Steps Dudley. It is our priority to create and maintain a positive learning space that our entire community can benefit from, from parents and carers to babies and even our own team members, our truly unique atmosphere ensures that anyone who steps through our doors feels welcome.
Proud to be the FIRST accredited setting in the whole of the Dudley Borough, we follow The Curiosity Approach which brings curiosity, awe, and wonder into early childhood and this helps create and nurture the thinkers and doers of the future.

You must have a friendly, smiling face! We want people that have a magical ability to make everyone feel welcome. We have a lot of parents, carers, and children that walk through our doors, and it's important they leave with a warm and fuzzy feeling in their hearts.
You have the ability to be able to switch from a princess to a pirate and back again during one storytime session. Whether you have experience in the theatre or not, at Early Steps you'll soon become a fantastic actor!
You become a wizard as soon as you get potions from our cleaning cupboard. Children are messy, and you find muddy marks and stains on your clothes and around the nursery throughout the day, so knowing how to keep things as clean as possible to combat this is a must!
You must be prepared to have a lot of fun in the workplace! Laughter is something that you will hear throughout our nursery, so even if you have an embarrassing laugh be prepared to embrace it when you become a member of our team.

Requirements:
✅ Level 3 or above CCLD Qualification (or equivalent) in childcare.
✅ Relevant childcare qualifications.
✅ Excellent communication and organisational skills.
✅ Warm and caring personality – friendly and approachable to families.
✅ Knowledge of child development and a commitment to equal opportunities for all children and families.
✅ Confidence in making day-to-day decisions thoughtfully and with a high degree of sensitivity to the needs of children and families.
✅ Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, particularly those applying to childcare.

Early Years Teacher
At Early Steps Nursery, we're thrilled to say that our team is growing, and we're now on the lookout for a qualified Early Years Teacher who is ready to take on their next challenge!
This is a Full-Time role, and you will be working 35+ hours over 5 days between the hours of 7.00am - 7.00pm.

Every week, we run Coffee & Career Days at Early Steps Dudley on Fridays at 10am and 2pm as an opportunity to meet candidates in person and really get to know who you are.
It's also an opportunity for you to get to know us! You'll be seeing the nursery firsthand, meeting some of our team, and experiencing what life is like at Early Steps Dudley. Plus, you can ask us all the questions you can think of!
This isn't an interview! Coffee & Careers gives you a chance to look around the nursery and talk to our team.
